Animal Print for Fall

Woah. Long time no blog. It has been about six months since I last posted on here and I definitely miss it. I used to be so on top of uploading something at least once a month, and I have been lagging for sure. So here I am again! And I'll *hopefully* be getting back into the swing of things because I really do miss blogging. It's my little creative escape!

So now...onto the outfit! Something I can already tell I'll be wearing A LOT of this season is animal print. Snakeskin and leopard print, to be exact (all faux, of course). I love how edgy these prints are and something else I really like is that you can dress these pieces up like I did, or you can dress them down with some distressed denim and tennis shoes. Like I said, I was kind of going for less casual look so I chose to wear this square-neck snakeskin top with a cute burgundy colored patent leather skirt. Since the look already had a lot going on, I toned it down a bit with a cropped denim jacket. I think this is great to do when you feel like an outfit is "too much". Just throw on a denim jacket and you're good to go! And of course it couldn't be a complete fall look without my knee-high boots. They're my favorite thing ever. I think they're flattering and do a great job at making us shorter girls look a little taller.
