Panama

Last week I went to Panama and I seriously still can't get over it. It was, by far, one of my favorite places I've traveled to. The culture is present throughout the architecture (especially in Casco Viejo), the people are SO nice and the food is to die for! My friends and I spent four days in Panama City and then took a short plane ride to Bocas del Toro for three days.

Hope you enjoy scrolling through these photos/videos I took!

Summer Stripes

Ahh! Finally back on the blog with another post! If you follow me on Instagram, you know I try to post daily. However, posting on the blog has been a little harder for me these days because I am so busy with work. By the time I get home, all I want to do is rest. With that said, I will work on finding a blogging schedule that is most convenient for me since it's something I really enjoy doing. It's kind of a creative escape.

Now..on to the outfit! Yesterday was my sister's graduation (s/o to Ale!), so I wanted to wear something less casual, but comfortable at the same time since I knew I'd be sitting for a little over two hours. I went with these striped palazzo pants and I paired them with a scalloped lace off-the-shoulder top. They're a great staple piece to have in your wardrobe because you can dress them up like I did, or you can wear them on a casual day with a simple white tee, some sneakers and an oversized denim jacket.

Classic White Tee

There’s nothing quite like a classic white t-shirt. It’s my go-to on those days that I feel like I have nothing to wear. This weekend I had one of those days. So of course I reached into my closet for a white tee. I decided to pair it with some high-waisted mom jeans that I recently purchased at H&M. They were inexpensive and fit like a glove! They’re my favorite pair of jeans at the moment. Also from H&M is this cute star choker I’m obsessed with. For a nice pop of color, I added some camel colored suede booties and a matching bag that has faux snake skin detailing on the front. I was actually headed to a concert on this day, so I just threw on a navy green bomber jacket and I was ready to go!

Burgundy Bomber

Something I love about living in San Diego is the fact that there is always somewhere new to explore! Although I was born and raised here, there are still so many things and places on my list. This past weekend my sister and I decided to spend the morning in beautiful La Jolla. We did some shopping at LF, then we went to Bobboi to eat a gelato by the beach. While we were walking along, just admiring the view, we stumbled upon this really cool wall. It was inside a parking lot where the perimeter was full of different art pieces. This one was my favorite, so I decided to shoot a few outfit photos. That day I was wearing a simple ensemble; just an off-the-shoulder top, dark-wash jeans, black leather booties and perhaps my favorite part - a silky burgundy bomber jacket that I recently purchased at Topshop. If you follow me on Instagram then you know about my bomber jacket obsession. I love this one because it’s actually really thick and warm!
